Improve your delivery performances with a simple barcode Kanban system.
Kanban Explained:
A Kanban system operates on the 'Just in time' principle and maintains inventory levels, which benefits both the customer and supplier; a signal is sent to produce and deliver a new shipment as material is consumed. These signals, which are initiated by the resident system, are tracked through the replenishment cycle and bring extraordinary visibility to both suppliers and buyers.
How it works:
When a container is emptied, it is scanned using a resident barcode scanner and then docked with its PC. The data file created by scanning the empty bin label is automatically sent to the supplier (and to the buyer) with details of the customer, the part number needed for replenishment and it’s quantity etc. Once the email has been received this can then trigger a sales order and ensure prompt delivery of stock to where it's needed.
If you or your company provide regularly consumed goods to your customers, we can offer you a simple & effective Kanban system, which can be operated by you (or preferably your customers) to provide them with a fast & reliable supply chain. Our easy to use software can be tailored to suit your needs and we supply a fully working Kanban system delivered and installed at your customer’s site as well as offering you both a comprehensive support and back up service.
Short of space?
2D codes like this can be used
to maximise the small amount
of space on most Kanban bins. The data contained within this single code is the equivalent to an A4 page full of text.
