Fast moving assets in the form of tools or gauges are notoriously difficult to keep track of and are usually rather expensive to replace.

Most manufacturing industries need to keep a close check on their tools to ensure that they're safe to use, tested on time, and to try and prevent them from being lost or stolen.

Whether it’s small hand tools or large static equipment, ToolTrak’s simple monitoring system will enable you to record all items issued and returned quickly and easily. Data is recorded via a PC, or for faster more accurate transactions – via a simple barcode scanner or a mobile PDA device. The ToolTrak database will let you know what items are overdue and more importantly,who has them.

All recorded transactions can then be collated into a number of in-built reports to highlight exactly where items are and which tools are due for calibration etc.

ToolTrak software will enable you to record all calibration and maintenance events as well as plan ahead for them in advance. Tools that are overdue testing are prevented from being issued  by the system upto 48 hours in advance. Tools that have been used a number of times can be restricted in the same way too.

ToolTrak software also has a database for non returnable consumable stocks and records the level of items being taken on a daily basis. This feature is also complimented with a simple stock take feature on the PDA device as well as a purchasing  facility to allow you to create and email orders for used up stocks.
