Tooltrak Asset Management Software for the PC and Windows mobile devices.

Manufacturing industries often need to keep a close check on expensive tooling within the workplace to ensure that they're safe to use, calibrated on time, and not being lost or stolen.

Tooltrak software offers much more than just a reminder for calibrations and maintenance events, it's simply the easiest and most cost effective way to monitor the movements of tooling and consumable stock items used in the workplace and it helps minimise the risk of human error.

Tooltrak's database structure will enable you to make a record of all makes & models used as well as details relating to individual costs, tool lifespans and when each one was used etc.

All Tool Issues and returns are monitored using simple barcode technology via a mobile scanning device (PDA) or through a simple plug in barcode scanner with all transactions  automatically dated and timed. Barcodes can be in the form of small laminated labels or they can be etched directly onto the tool.

Recorded information can then be collated into a number of in-built reports to highlight where items are and which tools are due for calibration etc.

ToolTrak software will enable you to record all calibration and maintenance events as well as plan ahead for them in advance. Tools that are overdue testing are prevented from being issued  by the system upto 48 hours in advance. Tools that have been used a number of times can be restricted in the same way too.

ToolTrak software also has a database for non returnable consumable stocks and records the level of items being taken on a dailt basis. This feature is also complimented with a simple stock take feature on the PDA devcie as well as a purchasing  facility to allow you to create and email orders for used up stocks. 

ToolTrak software is available as both a stand alone system or it can be run as a multi user version over a network, making it a truly comprehensive asset management system. 

In addition to these standard features, the Tooltrak system also works in conjunction with a range of both static and mobile tool cabinets which can be used in the workplace for line side delivery of tools. Each cabinet is programmed individually to allow only authorised users to access the tools inside. Entry is gained using a simple swipe card system on the side of the cabinet (barcode, mag stripe and proximity card reader options available) and once the drawer is closed again it automatically locks to keep tools safe and secure inside.
